Please check out the Miracle Mile Artwalk: Gallery Night Out on Wilshire Blvd! I've been dying to go and it always lands on a Saturday I can't get away.
Every other month,12 galleries on Wilshire Blvd. open on a Saturday from 4:30 to 10pm for self-guided tours. The thing about artwalks is the party atmosphere and access to multiple galleries in one evening. I don't know about you, but I am a tad intimidated about walking into a gallery alone with the only sound in the room being my shoes on a concrete floor. By going the the Artwalk you can enjoy artist talks, exhibit lectures, music and more.
And if that wasn't cool enough, you can also take advantage of free general admission to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Craft and Folk Art Museum.
