I have one word for people who just want to see a basketball game for the sake of seeing a game: Preseason. If you have guest visiting, or just want to go ot with friends, a night of professional basketball can be a great time. And if you go through ticketzoom you can save some serious cash.
A recent check showed Preseason tickets for Lakers running $29.00, as low as $4.00 for the Clippers. ( this is of course if you don't mind viewing the games from a higher vantage point.) The price goes up with better proximity--but you knew that.
