The current Muscle Beach Venice (1800 Ocean Front Walk)has been in place since 1959.
People come from all over to use the free weights and body building equipment at "The Pit." Our own governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, was a pit regular.
Events at Muscle Beach are always free. The Mr. & Ms. Muscle Beach Bodybuilding, Figure and Bikini Competition takes place on July 4th. Additional competitions are scheduled throughout the year.
