Cheap & Cheerful Music - Free Concerts Thursday and Friday evenings at Farmer's Market

One of my all-time favorite Cheap & Cheerful destinations is Farmer's Market.

It's wonderfully centrally located, (Third and Fairfax) and is one of those rare places you can meet up with a lot of people and everyone can have what they want to eat and drink. There are great little shops to explore and 2 wonderful newsstands.

If you haven't been to this slice of classic LA, this summer is a great time to visit as the Farmer's Market is celebrating it's 75th birthday.

Once of the many activities planned are free concerts on the West Patio every Thursday (jazz) and Friday (eclectic) from 7pm to 9pm. It makes for a really nice way to end the day. You can have a beer, the kids can have ice cream and who knows, some dancing may be involved!

p.s. Don't forget to get your parking ticket validated!
