Cheap & Cheerful --Little Armenia/Hollywood

If we are going to talk about Thai Town we also have to talk about Little Armenia.

Officially designated as such in 1970, Little Armenia is located south of Hollywood Blvd., north of Santa Monica Blvd. West of Vermont Avenue, East of the 101 Freeway While Glendale now boasts the largest Armenian population, this is where it started.

St. Garabed Armenian Apostolic Church is the epicenter of Armenian spiritual life. The world famous The local cultural jewel is Frank Lloyd Wright home of Barnsdell Park.

Mom and Pop restaurants, equity waver (99 or less seats) theaters and the bar/art exhibit venue Temporary Spaces makes for a fun and reasonably priced night life.
