“Vive le 14 juillet!” While today is the actual Bastille Day, the biggest Bastille celebration is scheduled for this Sunday the 17th.
The tenth annual Bastille Day LA Festival will be held from noon to 9pm at the Monticello Old Lodge in Elysian Park( Stadium Way and Scott Avenue next to Dodgers Stadium) A celebration of all things French will include
* A true Provencal Petanque Tournament under the pine trees
* A Parisian Waiters Race
* Street performers
* Comedians, singers, artists
* French Market vendors
* Fun prizes for all races
* Fabulous raffles!
* Famous French food, wines and gastronomic delights!
Admission is $5 - Free for children under 13. Street parking is free but limited. You can also park at Lot #13 of Dodger Stadium for $10.00 and then get a shuttle to the lodge.
