You would have to be the ultimate Grinch not to embrace this charming local tradition!
Starting tomorrow, Saturday November 27, 2010 and Sunday November 28, visitors of Travel Town (5200 Zoo Drive) can board the Santa Express for a surprisingly quick trip to Santa’s North Pole Village. Mrs. Claus and Santa’s Elves will greet arriving visitors before meeting the Big Guy to discuss one's current Christmas wishes. Every child visitor is presented a little gift from Santa.
The return trip from Santa’s Village will transport visitors through a wonderland of Holiday lights and scenery before returning to the station. The first train leaves about 5 pm each night and the last train will leave at about 8 pm.
The Santa Express will continue on December 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12 and December 15th through December 23rd.
Tickets $7.00 per person with infants 18 months and under free
Digital Photos with Santa are $5.00 each.
Tickets are available by reservation for specific days and may be bought at the Travel Town ticket booth or online (click on the heading of this post to visit the official website) Tickets are also sold to walk-ups at the gate until capacity is reached.
