Cheap & Cheerful Mardi Gras - Farmer's Market

Thank god for the people at Farmer's Market (3rd & Fairfax) who keep the party rolling, no matter what culture is up to bat! Come enjoy the 22nd Annual Mardi Gras Celebration at Farmer's Market!

Today is Fat Tuesday, or Mardi Gras-- for those of us who do the 40 days of lent leading up to Easter-- the last opportunity to really kick up some dust before the long, well behaved wait for chocolate and jelly beans.

While activities were held over the weekend, today is The Day and for the truly "faithful," Farmer's Market is about as legit as we get in Los Angeles. Eddie Baytos and The Nervis Brothers take the stage from 6:30pm - 9:30 pm on the west patio..but gumbo and po' boys are available all day.

Admission is free. Be sure to validate your parking ticket.

Laissez les bon temps rouler!
